Confirming Your Identity and Eligibility for a Financial Account (KYC)

Details on how to finish your account's Know Your Customer checks.

Once you have finished KYC verification you will gain access to all your account's features. You won't be able to make a deposit or sign up for a Live Account on Sway Markets unless your account has been verified.

Access your Sway Markets account.
You will be redirected to our verification tool on the Documents tab.

Please review the Privacy Statement and the Agreement to Process Personal Data.
Put a checkmark in both boxes once you're finished.
Go ahead and tap Next.

Select the corresponding country and choose the identity proof type you'll be presenting, click next.

Some samples of acceptable file upload formats will be displayed to you.

Please double-check that your document is still valid (Document invalidation takes place 5 days prior to expiration on the system).

Please take photos of both sides of your document/s

After you've uploaded your pictures using your webcam, you can move forward by clicking Confirm and Proceed.

If your computer doesn't have a webcam, you can still complete the verification process by using a mobile device; just click Continue on your phone and scan the QR Code displayed on the screen.

A live selfie of yourself is now required.

Access to the camera on your system may require your approval.
To dismiss the alert, select Allow.

Choose the "I'm Ready" option when you're prepared to take the selfie.

While waiting for the system to confirm your selfie, do not close the browser or turn off your device.

Once you've finished the steps above, you'll see a screen like the one below, which will prompt you to update any of the information or documents you previously submitted.

If everything looks good after you've entered your data and attached documents, you can move on.

The review of your paperwork has begun. Next, update your personal profile.

First, input your General Information and Address (note fields are mandatory)

Next, you can optionally input your Financial details and Type of activity

Finally, you can optionally add your Trading Experience and submit your profile for KYC review

In the event that we require any additional documentation, we will notify you via email, you can also check the status of your request in the Notifications inbox in your Sway Markets account.

Once confirmed, you'll receive a notification that your account has been successfully verified.
